[Microsoft Flight Simulator]Cape Town International Airport Now Available for MSFS
In previous simulators, simmers would only be able to get a decent version of Cape Town after many years of asking. For Microsoft Flight Simulator, the South African city has already been revamped thanks to Orbx and now, Flight Sim Development Group has released their rendition of Cape Town International Airport for the new simulator.
This new release includes an accurate and detailed rendition of Cape Town International Airport (FACT) with plenty of areas that have a great level of detail. The main airport areas are brimming with details, with detailed ground markings, taxiway signage and other environmental effects. In addition, 3D models are scattered throughout providing a high level of realism throughout. This includes a number of hangars (with static aircraft) and interior modelling for many areas within the terminal. Other features include animated jetways, optional static aircraft and 3D humans.
One very important detail is the fact that this airport is fully compatible with Landmarks Cape Town City Pack by Orbx.
Cape Town International Airport is one of South Africa’s busiest airports and is the main gateway to the iconic city. The airport’s primary airline is Airlink, with Mango, FlySafair and South African Airways serving the airport on a regular basis, too.
You can buy FSDG’s Cape Town for Microsoft Flight Simulator now for 21.00 from Aerosoft and simMarket.
FSDG seem to be knocking out airport products extremely quickly at this point, having released Seychelles just a few days ago.
